In today’s unit we are going to talk about something important to everyone no matter who you are 
This unit is about the people in your life your family and your friends How many people are there 
in your family Do you have any brothers and sisters What is your relationship like with your parents 
Who is your best friend What do you like to do together These are all important questions and we will talk about these issues In this week’s Cultural Focus we will learn about some differences in family and friend relationships in Western countries Although there are some small differences everyone around the world 
wants the same things a loving family and some friends to have fun and chat with We are going to watch 
several videos of people talking about their relationships and we will learn some useful 
words and phrases to describe our own relationships Are you ready Let’s go
