In this first week you will reflect on 12
listening and note-taking strategies and commit yourself to putting some of those
into your own personal listening and note-taking practice. You will be introduced to the classic
Cornell note-taking method and to some note-taking shortcuts
that will make it possible for you to take great lecture
notes without falling behind. You will have the chance to practice what
you've learned as you listen carefully to authentic university lectures.
