[MUSIC] Welcome to vocabulary section lesson three. In this section you will learn the basic
vocabulary to talk about places, the environment, and the weather. Strive to make new associations
between the sounds, the images, the written words, and the English translations. In the exercises drag and
drop the correct Spanish word onto the appropriate images and
then listen to the Spanish pronunciation. Remember to repeat this associative
process about ten times, especially during the week, spread out,
so that you can memorize each word. Afterwards, make sure to complete
the comprehension checks, to be sure that you're understanding all of the vocabulary. Fortunately there are many cognates between English and Spanish that will help you increase your Spanish vocabulary. But pay attention to the small changes in spelling and pronunciation.
